Shawnda Morning

Graphic Designer • Loctician • Jewelry Designer

Shawnda "SAM" Morning is a visionary entrepreneur and creative force, born in Louisiana and raised in the serene countryside of Mississippi, where her love for farming, nature, and the arts took root. As the CEO of Blk'nd Greenz, SAM leads an innovative agriculture company that specializes in hydroponics, aquaponics, and holistic health practices. Her passion for sustainable living and wellness drives
her mission to bring eco-conscious solutions to urban communities.
SAM's creative talents extend far beyond agriculture. A skilled graphic designer and jewelry maker, she is known for her intricate crystal-wrapped and braided designs. As a loctician, SAM brings artistry to haircare, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and craftsmanship. Her creative journey is a reflection of her dedication to connecting people with nature through both her artistic and agricultural endeavors.
In her role as COO of UBLAC (Utah Black Artists Collective), SAM advocates for Black artists, fostering spaces where they can thrive and share their stories. She is also a trained majorette dancer, embracing her cultural heritage through movement
and expression.
Grounded in her rural upbringing, SAM's work is a harmonious blend of nature, creativity, and community. Whether she's in the fields or the studio, her commitment to sustainable practices and artistic empowerment continues to shape the landscapes-both literal and cultural-that
she touches.
